Not only is this dog super cute with his tongue out, but I love the editing you did on your card. I didn’t even notice that they were separate images at first. I thought it was all one image, (the background and dog.) The colorful glow in the clouds is very pretty and makes the image look more like a trading card, as opposed to just a picture of a dog and landscape with a border. I can also see the influence of the magic trading card.
I really like the way you posted the before and after process. It really shows how well you used photoshop and blended everything together. All of the elements work really well together how you set them up. The only thing is that the words on the back of the card are kind of hard to read, but other than that the card is really awesome. I love the change made to the color of the clouds; it really adds to the super-hero aspect of the card.
I like the way you have included the photos that you used to make your trading card. It really makes the finished product that more interesting! The front of your card is amazing, the sky and the effects that you have used look really good. I love the way you have taken a normal image and made it look like an old “country” type image by adding in the cart. The sky especially and the way in which it has been altered shows the “magic” of the trading card.
As for the back I really like it. I am a big fan of the simple, less is more type of cards and you have captured this perfectly. The one thing that I would say is that the “Rescue Dogs” writing can be slightly hard to read because of the deep red on black. Especially from a distance.
